I recently received an email from a client who thought we were sending a bunch of mail to her new rental property we just closed and funded. I explained that we don’t spam mail our clients and asked if she could take a snap shot of one of the letters. Sure enough it was spam mail from an insurance company with the title reading Re: Capital Concepts making the client think it was from us. Well there is something posted on the federal trade commission’s website explaining exactly what to do to opt out of junk mail for either a 5 year period or permanently. I have been using this for years and I don’t get mailings from companies buying the information from the 3 major credit agencies. I found this extremely useful and hope you do as well.
